Allow me to introduce myself, my name is James Morrison and I have been a chef since the tender age of 15. I’m old enough to know better than to publish my age but i can tell you that over the past 2 decades I have had the opportunity to work in all aspects of the catering industry. Small family run bakery, gastro pubs, hotel management and large banqueting and conference facilities.
I have always been interested in food since I can remember, I have fond memories of picking blackberries, peeling the runner beans licking the spoon when making cakes with my Nan and making puddings every Friday with my Aunty.
My true passion in catering started when I stepped into my first home economic class during secondary school at the ripe old age of 13. It was there that I decided that it was the path I wished to take.
My experience spans 18 years with knowledge from all aspects of the kitchen working in a small family bakery, country gastro pubs , small coastal hotels and large banqueting facilities for 200+
A few years ago I decide to take the leap and work for myself to share with others what I have learnt and so far I have grown from strength to strength I have secured a couple residencies and my own pop up restaurant in my home town of Frome.
